2025

The Climate Forum was invited to exhibit at the 2025 São Paulo Architecture Bienal: Architectures for an Overheated Planet. Through a series of posters and provocations, the Climate Forum invited to think about: 1. Architecture that chooses life affirming practices 2. Architecture as poetics of resistance 3. Architectures that listen to the wind and flow with the rivers 4. Architecture that is decoupled of the idea of progress 5. Architecture as a vessel for multiple ways of knowing 6. Architecture which isn't just building 7. Architecture which prioritises multispecies and more than human cohabitation.
Alongside the Climate Wheel, the Climate forum invited professionals in the spatial field, to engage with their duty to move away from practices that degrade the Earth and society. By recognizing climate change as a symptom of a broader problem, we understand that addressing the climate crisis holistically means going beyond logistical and technocratic "solutions," such as merely sustainable construction tools.
